
The full San Francisco 49ers schedule for the 2026 NFL season will be released on Thursday, May 14, at 5 p.m. PT. Coverage of the official schedule reveal will be featured on NFL Network, NFL.com, NFL+, and ESPN.
Last year's NFL schedule was released on May 14, 2025.
While fans continue waiting for the official dates and kickoff times to begin planning their season, the 49ers' 2026 opponents have been known since January.
During the 2026 NFL season, San Francisco will host the Arizona Cardinals, Los Angeles Rams, Seattle Seahawks, Las Vegas Raiders, Denver Broncos, Washington Commanders, Philadelphia Eagles, Minnesota Vikings, and Miami Dolphins.
One of those home games will be played internationally in Mexico City at Estadio Banorte.
In addition to their NFC West road matchups, the 49ers will also travel to face the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers, and Atlanta Falcons.
One game on the schedule has already been officially announced. The 49ers will open the 2026 season against the Rams in Week 1 on Thursday, September 10, at 5:35 p.m. PT at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground. The matchup will mark the first NFL regular-season game in Australia, with the Rams as the home team and the 49ers as the visiting team.
The NFL will announce its remaining 2026 International Games on Wednesday, May 13 at 6 a.m. PT on Good Morning Football on NFL Network.
