There were a million storylines from one of the reported off-the-field events of the NFL offseason, the Tight End Camp in Nashville, from Taylor Swift’s impromptu concert to Dude Wipes being one of the event’s sponsors. There was also one part where San Francisco 49ers TE and co-founder of TEU, George Kittle, broke out singing “Love Story” with Swift at one point.
The 49ers tight end recently opened up about his unexpected singing moment with Swift. Speaking with NBC Sports’ Matt Maiocco, Kittle recounted the surreal experience of joining Swift, who attended the annual tight end summit alongside her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce.
Kittle, a longtime Swift fan, became a social media sensation when clips surfaced of him singing “Love Story” with Swift right by his side. He admitted that it was a fun one, considering it’s not something that happens very often.
That was a fun one. I was in the process of handing [my wife] Claire and Taylor drinks for the night, and I was like, ‘I just gotta tell you that ‘Love Story’ is definitely my favorite Taylor Swift song.’ And as I was telling her, it came on the speakers, and I was like, ‘I’m not going to miss this opportunity.’ You don’t get to sing ‘Love Story’ with Taylor Swift very often. It was just an absolute riot and something I’ll probably remember forever.

George Kittle hasn’t hidden his fandom for the famed singer. Last year, while attending the nuptials of Christian McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo, Kittle asked Kelce if he could use the washroom in Swift’s Holiday House, which was located nearby. Kelce took it in stride while notifying Kittle about the security detail at her abode. In an interview around the same time, Kittle added that he hasn’t asked Kelce for tickets yet.
The American Century Championship, hosted annually at the Edgewood Tahoe Resort near Lake Tahoe, invites celebrities from all walks of life for a fun, competitive game of golf. The event is no short of A-listers and celebrities, including actor Miles Teller , comedian Colin Jost , and NFL quarterbacks Josh Allen , Sam Darnold, and Baker Mayfield.
The quarterbacks were joined by tight ends Travis Kelce and George Kittle as well as Kelce’s older brother, Jason Kelce. However, none of them are ranked higher in the event. Adam Thielen is one of the NFL players to be featured in the Top 10. While Travis has been associated with this sport for some time, Kittle is not known for his golfing skills. However, Kittle is known for his jovial energy and funny humor.
Apart from his two cents on what it meant to sing his favorite song with Taylor Swift, he also dropped one remark. He addressed and joked around his obvious lack of skills, while noting that alternative arrangements should be made for Taylor Swift.
She probably wouldn’t be able to walk around. She would probably be in a helicopter.

His remark has fans wondering whether Taylor Swift might make an appearance to support her boyfriend again. Swift had also shown up in Ohio when Kelce played in the Alex’s Way Charity Golf Tournament on June 30. While she wasn’t seen on the golf course, the couple was spotted having lunch at a restaurant.
