It didn't take long for the Georgia Bulldogs to fill a recruiting hole left by four-star receiver Vance Spafford.
On3's Chad Simmons reported Thursday that fellow four-star receiver Craig Dandridge committed to the Bulldogs. The wideout chose Georgia over the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Oklahoma Sooners and Tennessee Volunteers.
“It is about the program Georgia is. What they do for their players on and off the field is great, and I see Georgia having the best of both worlds," Dandridge told On3."
"They offer great support in whatever you need to help you become a better person or player. The coaching is great for on the field, and they will help prepare you for the NFL or to be a businessman.
"They have a great plan for both football and life after football.”
It would have been surprising if Dandridge chose a school other than Georgia. The Bulldogs were the front-runners for the four-star receiver throughout his recruitment process.
But it's still a recruiting win Georgia should celebrate.
Dandridge became the fourth recruit to commit to the Bulldogs this week. In addition to the receiver, four-star prospects Jae Lamar, Khamari Brooks and Shadarius Toodle, along with three-star defensive lineman Corey Howard, have pledged to Georgia since June 22.

The 247Sports Composite rankings rated Dandridge the No. 38 wide receiver and 26th Georgia prospect in the 2026 recruiting class. Dandridge is also the No. 237 overall recruit in the class.
Behind the hot streak this week, Georgia has moved up the 247Sports class rankings for 2026. The Bulldogs' class now sits at No. 3 behind only the USC Trojans and Texas A&M Aggies.
Georgia leaped in the rankings despite Spafford flipping to the Miami Hurricanes on Monday.
