As expected, the New York Giants, who enter Week 5's game down three offensive linemen (left tackle Andrew Thomas, center John Michael Schmitz, and backup interior offensive lineman Shane Lemieux), have elevated Jalen Mayfield and Jaylon Thomas from their practice squad.

Joshua Ezeudu is expected to start at left tackle, where he's been for Thomas since Week 2. With Schmitz set to miss his first game, Ben Bredeson will move over from left guard to play center and will be backed up by Thomas, as Lemueux, who would have been OC3 for the Giants, was declared out on Friday.

The Giants projected starting offensive line, from left tackle to right, is Ezeudu, Mark Glowinski, Bredeson, Marcus McKethan, and Evan Neal. It's the fifth different starting combination in as many games for the Giants.

Offensive lineman Justin Pugh, signed this week to the team's practice squad, is not yet ready to play and was not an option.

Still to be determined for the Giants are the statuses of running back Saquon Barkley (ankle) and tight end Daniel Bellinger (knee). Barkley has been sidelined since twisting his ankle in Week 2, while Bellinger was injured last week on the 4th-and-1 "tush push" that failed.

Both players received a questionable designation from the Giants, as did inside linebacker Micah McFadden (ankle).
