New York Giants fans let their demands be known Sunday during the team’s dispiriting loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Giants quarterback Russell Wilson had a miserable first half against the defending AFC champions. Wilson sandwiched New York’s lone first-half touchdown with two interceptions that sucked the life out of the crowd inside MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.
With the Giants’ offense looking lethargic during the game, the fans let Brian Daboll and co. know they wanted a change.
“We want Dart! We want Dart!” fans chanted, calling for rookie Jaxson Dart to take the reins.

Daboll finally gave in to the crowd’s demands midway through the third quarter. Dart replaced Wilson at the 6:54 mark and scrambled for three yards. But the switch was only temporary, as Wilson reentered the game one snap later.
Wilson finished the game with an 18/32 passing clip for 160 yards and a couple of interceptions. The Giants lost 22-9, dropping their record to 0-3 to begin the season.
Giants fans weren’t the only ones hoping for a change on Sunday night. A number of neutral observers let it be known that they want the Chiefs out of the primetime slot.
