Giants HC Joe Judge reacts to Kadarius Toney's ejection for throwing punch

It was a day to forget for the New York Giants in Dallas on Sunday. After losing several key players to injury, including quarterback Daniel Jones and running back Saquon Barkley, the team was getting thumped by the rival Cowboys. Then, Giants rookie wide receiver Kadarius Toney threw a punch at Cowboys safety Damontae Kazee and was ejected from the game.

Suffice to say, head coach Joe Judge was irate with the rookie's decision to act out.

"Look, there's a pretty distinct line in terms of competing and doing things that we're not going to condone as a team that put us behind," Judge said post-game, via Yahoo! Sports. "That's not going to be accepted, that's not going to be condoned."

Toney was one of the bright spots for the Giants in Sunday's game prior to the punch, tallying 10 receptions for 189 yards and breaking former Giants Odell Beckham Jr's rookie record of 185 yards in a game.

After his fourth-quarter behavior, however, all anyone can talk about is whether Toney will get suspended.

Judge told the press he will let the league make that decision but that he will address the whole locker room about the incident.

"I think every rookie has a lot of maturing to do," Judge said. "You’re asking specifically about an incident, I’m going to address that with the team. I’m going to address that with the players individually as well, make sure we’re on the same page. There shouldn’t be any confusion in that at all. I’ll leave it at that."

The Giants host the Los Angeles Rams (4-1) next Sunday.
