Giants interested in acquiring Mitchell Trubisky?
Chuck Cook-USA TODAY Sports

Another report suggests that the New York Giants may not be completely committed to Daniel Jones as the team’s starting quarterback.

The Giants are “very likely” to target free agent quarterback Mitchell Trubisky, according to Tony Pauline of Pro Football Network. The Giants view Trubisky as a possible starter who can challenge Jones for the job. The Giants are also very familiar with Trubisky, as head coach Brian Daboll and new GM Joe Schoen worked with the quarterback in Buffalo last season.

Pauline also reports that the Pittsburgh Steelers are likely to pursue Trubisky, who is expected to be quite expensive on the open market.

The Giants have certainly given Jones some reason to sweat about his job security. Whether or not Trubisky is the answer as a possible starter, there is certainly mounting evidence that the Giants are not convinced by Jones.
