The New York Giants edged the Washington Football Team 23-20 on Sunday, and they can thank Logan Ryan for the victory. Ryan made the interception that won the game for the Giants, picking off Alex Smith in the fourth quarter to seal the deal.
It has been a difficult week for Ryan and his wife Ashley, who underwent emergency surgery last week for an ectopic pregnancy, which is when the fertilized egg implants in the Fallopian tube instead of the uterus.
Ashley didn't know she was pregnant and went to the doctor following medical advice from the Giants medical trainer. She currently is recovering and doing well, but doctors were unable to save the pregnancy.
Following Sunday's win, Ryan opened up about his emotional week, giving an update on his wife while also saying that he gifted the game ball he received to her.
Logan Ryan's wife had to be rushed to the ER last week which saved her life but they tragically lost their baby. He clinched the Giants' win yesterday with an interception:

Ryan, a native of New Jersey, signed a one-year deal with the Giants in September. Just as the team was there for his wife, saving her life, he saved the Giants on Sunday with his game-clinching interception — a truly incredible moment.
