Per Pat Leonard, the Giants are placing RB Tyrone Tracy on injured reserve.

The Giants are also signing RB Greg Desrosiers to the active roster from the Chargers’ practice squad, according to Leonard.

Tracy suffered a hamstring injury in the team’s Week 7 win over the Texans. It’s worth noting Giants RB Cam Skattebo also was banged up on his last run on Sunday.

Tracy, 26, started his career at Iowa as a wide receiver before transferring to Purdue for his final two seasons and converting to running back. The Giants selected him with the No. 166 overall pick in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft.

Tracy signed a four-year, $4,306,352 rookie contract that included a $286,352 signing bonus.

In 2026, Tracy has appeared in seven games for the Giants and rushed 19 times for 55 yards and two touchdowns to go along with five catches for 54 yards and a touchdown.

We’ll have more on Tracy as the news is available.
