Giants players share frustrations after close loss to Cowboys

"We didn't do enough to win," he continued in his post-game news conference. "We're frustrated, we're not discouraged, we're still confident in our team and what we can do but no, we don't feel good about losing."

Defensive lineman Dexter Lawrence II shared that same sentiment with reporters in the locker room, telling them "going toe-to-toe" with Dallas meant nothing without a win.

"I'm not getting no petty wins," he said. "Whoever won on the scoreboard and that's the game. I don't give a damn about a petty win, like, it's football. We go out here to score points and to win and stop them on defense. We didn't do that and they beat us."

Lawrence continued, lamenting the fact that New York hasn't beaten Dallas in the last seven tries, "every loss hurts, I'm pissed."

Jones and Lawrence won't have another crack at Dallas until Nov. 28 but a lot can change in that time with injuries and more.

New York's 2024 first-round pick, Malik Nabers, exited Thursday's game with a concussion late in the fourth quarter after posting 115 yards on 12 catches. He did not speak with the media post-game.

The Giants now have 10 days before traveling to Seattle in Week 5, looking to improve from its poor 1-3 start to the 2024 season.
