Russell Wilson started the season as the New York Giants' starting quarterback. He has since lost the job to rookie Jaxson Dart and now stands as the backup.
He's maintained good spirits regarding coach Brian Daboll's decision and is looking to help the team in any way he can in his 14th season in the NFL.
Football isn't the only thing Wilson is focused on, though. He's a family man and is married to Ciara, a singer who has also acted in her past.
The two have been a power couple since tying the knot back in 2016 at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire, England.
On Friday, Wilson took to social media to announce a new venture that he and Ciara have completed.
Wilson and Ciara were the co-executive producers on the new movie "Sarah's Oil."
"Sarah’s Oil!" Wilson said. "A story of Faith and overcoming! Sarah was the first young black female millionaire at just 11 years old! This is a movie for everyone! We are so proud to be Co-Executive producers on this project! In theaters now!!"

The movie is about an African American girl who was born in early-20th-century Oklahoma Indian Territory and believes there is oil beneath the land she inherits.
It's based on a true story and came out on Friday.
