The New York Giants fell to 2-11 after a 33-15 loss to the New England Patriots in Week 13.

It was the fifth straight game without star rookie running back Cam Skattebo, who suffered a fractured fibula, ruptured deltoid ligament and an ankle dislocation.

Skattebo has been a fan favorite in his short time so far in New York.

He's also brought a level of energy to the team, which has been lacking since his season-ending injuries in Week 8.

As Skattebo heals, he's been spending his free time playing video games and live-streaming.

On Monday, however, he took to social media to share a post and make a request.

Class of 2026 high school running back Talen Mather posted his senior highlights in hopes of receiving a collegiate offer.

Skattebo saw the post, and reacted with, "Get him an offer!!!! He’s on his way up watch !!!"

Skattebo himself was under-recruited coming out of high school, so he knows what Mather is going through.

According to 247Sports, Skattebo had only two college offers: William & Mary and Sacramento State.

He chose Sacramento State and played two seasons there before transferring to Arizona State.

Skattebo then exploded in his senior season, rushing 293 times for 1,711 yards and 21 touchdowns. He even finished fifth in the Heisman Trophy voting.

In the eight games Skattebo played before getting injured this season, he rushed 101 times for 410 yards and five touchdowns.
