Giants Re-sign Receiver Isaiah Hodgins
USA TODAY Sports

The New York Giants announced they have re-signed receiver Isaiah Hodgins to an undisclosed contract.

Hodgins,6-foot-4 and 210 pounds, was drafted in the sixth round of the 2020 draft out of Oregon State, where he played in 34 games with 27 starts. His 176 receptions ranked sixth in program history, his 2,322 receiving yards ranked seventh all-time, and his 20 touchdowns tied him for second in the school's record books.

A Biletnikoff Award (nation's top receiver) semifinalist in 2018 and 2019, Hodgins appeared in three games for the Bills since being drafted up until his release on November 1. The Giants were awarded his contract off waivers the next day, and Hodgins turned out to be a big-time addition to a Giants receiving corps that had its share of struggles.

Hodgins appeared in 10 games (including the playoffs) with seven starts as a Giant. He finished with 42 receptions out of 53 pass targets for 459 yards and five touchdowns, the touchdowns scored in five of his final seven games of 2022 (including the postseason).

Hodgins, whom Pro Football Focus named as its choice for the team's secret superstar at the end of the season, was due to be an exclusive rights free agent. His signing leaves the Giants with one remaining ERFA, offensive lineman Wyatt Davis, to address.
