Giants roasting Darnay Holmes over 'freaky' viral video

Members of the New York Giants are finding that it's easy to laugh at themselves while sitting at 4-1 on the season.

During New York's win over the Green Bay Packers at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London this past Sunday, Giants cornerback Darnay Holmes became an unknowing star of a somewhat not-safe-for-work video that showed him receiving treatment from a trainer while on the sideline.

Giants safety Julian Love explained during Tuesday's appearance on the WFAN "Tiki & Tierney" program that teammates were able to view the viral clip before they made their journey back to the United States.

"Before we got on the plane to head back, I think (placekicker) Graham Gano showed me and was like 'Dude what is this,'" Love remarked during the segment, according to Logan Mullen of Audacy. "I was like 'oh no,' and I knew that was instantly going to blow up. Like dang Darnay, you getting freaky on the sidelines? I don’t know what’s going on."

Love indicated he, like many fans who have since seen the video, found himself wondering why Holmes didn't seek the cover of the team's blue medical tent at that point of the game.

"That’s part of it too. I'm like why didn’t you block yourself? Usually, when you have to do something that requires you to pull down your pants or something like that, you get covered," Love added. "But he was just trying to get it done as quickly as possible apparently."

Love assured hosts Tiki Barber and Brandon Tierney that Holmes has taken things in stride and enjoyed some laughs over the matter since Sunday evening London time.

Big Blue will next host the 3-2 Baltimore Ravens this Sunday.
