Giants site uses contract cost to rank QB talent

A New York Giants site recently ranked NFC East quarterback situations — and somehow decided that contract value is more important than quarterback talent. The result? The Giants, with their trifecta of question marks: Russell Wilson, Jameis Winston, and Jaxson Dart, landed ahead of the Dallas Cowboys… because they’re cheaper.

Seriously.

They openly admit no Giants quarterback is as talented as Dak Prescott. They call him “underrated” and “cerebrally gifted.” And then, like a plot twist no one asked for, they punish him for being well-paid and 31 years old — as if quarterback play peaks at 26 and contract value equals wins.

Let’s be clear: the reason Dak Prescott is expensive is the same reason Jameis and Russ are cheap. The league sets the market — not Twitter.

The take tries to project upside in Jaxson Dart while propping up “affordable veterans” who, respectfully, couldn’t start for half the teams in the league last season. Cost-effective is great — unless the cost is five wins and a top-five pick.

Meanwhile, Dallas has one quarterback. He recently threw for 4,500 yards, 36 touchdowns, and finished second in MVP voting.

There's a common phrase in the football world: "if you have two quarterbacks, you have none." Well, the Giants have three — and zero clarity.

Maybe if you were the defending Super Bowl champs, you could trash Dak compared to your scrapheap room.

Maybe if you had more than two winning season's in the last 12 years you’d have ground to stand on.

And maybe — just maybe — if you weren’t 2–13 all-time against Dak Prescott, people might actually take you seriously.

Until further notice?

This is a joke. And people are definitely laughing... they just aren't laughing with you.
