Gillette Stadium to host games for 2026 World Cup

The home of the New England Patriots will host numerous games during the 2026 World Cup.

And that will even include a quarterfinal matchup on Thursday, July 9.

This is the first World Cup that will be played in North America in more than three decades. And there will be 16 host cities across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. 

Gillette Stadium will host a total of seven matches.

Here is the full schedule at Gillette Stadium:

Saturday, June 13
Tuesday, June 16
Friday, June 19
Tuesday, June 23
Friday, June 26
Monday, June 29
Thursday, July 9

As for the World Cup finals, that will be held at MetLife Stadium, which is the home of the New York Giants and New York Jets.

Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta and AT&T Stadium in Dallas will host the semifinals, while Hard Rock Stadium in Miami will have the third-place game.

Los Angeles — SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif: 8

Atlanta — Mercedes-Benz Stadium: 8

New York — MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J: 8

Boston — Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass: 7

Houston — NRG Stadium: 7

Miami — Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla: 7

Kansas City — Arrowhead Stadium: 6

Philadelphia — Lincoln Financial Field: 6

San Francisco — Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif: 6

Seattle — Lumen Field: 6

Canada

Toronto — BMO Field: 6

Vancouver — BC Place: 7

Mexico

Guadalajara — Estadio Akron in Zapopan, Mexico: 4

Mexico City — Estadio Azteca: 5

Monterrey — Estadio BBVA in Guadalupe, Mexico: 4
