Good news for the Buccaneers helps chances greatly against Lions
USA TODAY Sports

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are about to play one of their toughest games of the season against the Detroit Lions.

Detroit is one of the best teams in the league, and despite one loss, they look like they have the potential to make a deep run in the playoffs; something the Buccaneers would also like to pull off.

For Tampa to get to that point, they'll need to win a game like this one, and having a healthy Mike Evans will help a lot.

Evans was a question mark for this week, even after the bye week that came early.

The star wide receiver for the Bucs left their Week 4 win over the Saints with his immediate future somewhat uncertain, but now the Buccaneers have their good news.

With Evans back, this offense is at 100% and in a perfect position to take advantage of a bad Lions secondary.

Evans and Godwin by themselves are going to give the Lions a lot of trouble, and adding in other weapons like Trey Palmer will make this team even more difficult to contend with for a group like the Lions.

Mike Evans is back, ready to go, and ready to continue his dominant season in style. There is a good chance that dominance translates to a win this Sunday.
