Jordan Love is the man for the Green Bay Packers, as he holds the most important role on the field for his team. As for his rank in the NFL’s Top 100 for the 2025 NFL season, Love came in at the No. 68 spot, as revealed by the league in a video posted on social media recently.
That’s lower than his rank a year before, when the former Utah State Aggies star was given the No. 34 spot.
Love’s slide can be attributed to injuries he dealt with in 2024. He missed two games because of a knee injury he suffered in a Week 1 game versus the Philadelphia Eagles in Brazil. He also battled through injuries in two other games during the campaign.
Overall, Love passed for 3,389 passing yards and 25 touchdowns to go with 11 interceptions while completing 63.1 percent of his throws through 15 games.
Entering his third season as the Packers’ full-time starter, Love carries with him big expectations, as the Packers look to surpass their 11-win total in 2024 and go deeper in the playoffs.
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy was among those who spoke about Love in the video.
“Jordan Love’s balling, man,” Purdy said. “I feel like he’s always got some kind of highlight throw every week. I just respect how he goes about playing the quarterback position and going through reads and willing his team to win. Respect him a lot.”
Love faced the 49ers in 2024 and led the Packers to a 38-10 Week 12 win at Lambeau Field. Purdy, however, was not available in that contest because of an injury, while Love threw for 163 passing yards and two touchdowns with zero interceptions. Running back Josh Jacobs steamrolled the Niners as well for a three-touchdown outing.
