The Green Bay Packers have made a massive amount of changes to their coaching staff, especially on defense. Of course, this was necessitated by defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley leaving to become the head coach of the Miami Dolphins, and taking multiple Packers coaches with him.
And so, in addition to hiring Jonathan Gannon to replace Hafley, Green Bay has had to hire multiple other coaches to replace those that left with him. However, one other decision the Packers made was to not bring back passing game coordinator Derrick Ansley, who had been hired by the team in 2024.
Instead, Green Bay hired former Buffalo Bills defensive coordinator Bobby Babich to the role.
Ansley, though, was not out of a job for long. Yesterday, it was reported that he had been hired by the Dallas Cowboys to be their passing game coordinator:

At the end of the 2025 NFL season, the Cowboys decided to part ways with defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus. They hired Christian Parker, who was also interviewed by the Packers, to replace him.
Ansley, as noted about, is a two-time defensive coordinator himself, having served in that role with the Los Angeles Chargers and at Tennessee.
As noted above, too, Ansley also worked for the then Oakland Raiders.
Meanwhile, the Packers are nearly done filling out the rest of their own coaching staff. That being said, they still need a linebackers coach and quarterbacks coach after Sean Mannion decided to leave and become the offensive coordinator of the Philadelphia Eagles.
