Green Bay Packers Have Highly Ranked Offensive Unit

There is a lot of upside when it comes to the Green Bay Packers offense. The youngest and most inexperienced unit in the NFL in 2023 found their footing in the second half of the season, showing some of their immense potential.

From Week 11 through the remainder of the NFL season, including the playoffs, there may not have been a team as productive on offense as the Green Bay Packers. They still had their hiccups, as any young team would. But, when they found a rhythm, they clicked on all cylinders.

Heading into the 2024 season, expectations are on the rise in Green Bay. Many evaluators and analysts believe they could ascend to Super Bowl contenders this season if they can keep on the same path they are on.

Once again, their offense should be strong. Over at Bleacher Report, Alex Ballentine ranked the offenses of every team in the NFL. The Green Bay Packers came in as one of the best units at No. 10.

“The Green Bay Packers appear to have found a bona fide franchise quarterback—again. Jordan Love finally got the chance to prove he can be the successor to Aaron Rodgers and didn’t disappoint. Love was electric over the back half of the season, placing second in passing touchdowns (21) and passing yards (2,667).

Now he comes back with a young group of receivers who should continue to develop around him. Swapping out Aaron Jones for Josh Jacobs at running back doesn’t feel like a huge upgrade, but they are at least younger at the position,” Ballentine wrote.

Jordan Love is heading into his second season as the starting quarterback. Opposing franchises around the NFL have to be tired of the Packers hitting on high-level quarterbacks, as they’re coming off Hall of Fame production for 30 years.

His young wide receiver and tight end group have a year of experience under their belt, which will allow offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich to start opening up the playbook. Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, Jayden Reed, Dontayvion Wicks, Luke Musgrave and Tucker Kraft bring diverse skill sets to the mix.

There is a lot of talent on this offense and they are only scratching the surface of their potential. If development continues, they are going to keep moving up these rankings as the season moves along.
