The Green Bay Packers still need to address the defensive tackle position, especially a run-stopping two-gap option, since the position struggled against the run last year and relied heavily on the EDGE rushers, linebackers, and safeties to make plays. Green Bay especially needs a nose tackle, as the team is set to incorporate a 3-4 base defense, since Javon Hargrave and Devonte Wyatt are undersized for that role. Undrafted free agent Nazir Stackhouse is the current projected starter, while his backup, Jordon Riley, is recovering from a season-ending Achilles injury.
According to Aaron Wilson, the Packers hosted former Georgia Bulldogs defensive tackle Christen Miller for a 30-visit. He is an elite run-stopper capable of playing nose tackle in the NFL, weighing 321 pounds at the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine, though he is a developing pass rusher with limited production. Miller did not participate in athletic testing or on-field drills at the NFL Combine and skipped testing at Georgia’s Pro Day, instead focusing on positional drills.

Christen Miller became a full-time starter in 2024 after spending his first two seasons as a reserve and logging just 229 defensive snaps during that span. Miller recorded 27 tackles, 3.5 TFLs, and 1.5 sacks across 12 games, including ten starts, accounting for 357 snaps as a redshirt sophomore. He also posted 18 pressures, a 10.9% pass-rush win rate, 14 run stops, an 8.3% stop rate, and an 81.9 run-defense grade.
Christen Miller enjoyed a solid redshirt junior campaign, setting career highs in tackles for loss, starts, and playing time. Miller recorded 23 tackles, four TFLs, and 1.5 sacks across 14 games, including 14 starts, accounting for 437 snaps. He also posted 16 pressures, an 11.9 pass-rush win rate, 12 run stops, a 7.2% stop rate, and an 88.1 run-defense grade, which ranked third among qualified defensive tackles.
Miller wrapped up his four-year tenure at Georgia, totaling 64 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, and four sacks across 43 games, 24 starts, and 1,076 snaps.
“Miller is an even-front nose tackle who can rattle pads and gain early advantages at the point of attack. He has good stack-and-shed against single blocks but lacks the prototypical mass of a space-eater. He will lose his anchor to double teams and strong angle blocks at times.
“He’s average at matching lateral movement off the snap but is generally aware of play design and hustles across gaps to squeeze run lanes. He’ll continue to bulk up and should become a good starter who is more consistent than dominant along the interior.”
He projects as a plus starter.
