Green Bay Packers injury Report: Inactives announced for Week 3 game at Cleveland
Peter Casey-Imagn Images

90 minutes ahead of opening kickoff, the Green Bay Packers have released its inactive list against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. Both teams will be dealing with some missing pieces on the injury front — including a key starter for the Packers.

Despite this, the Packers are off to a 2-0 start to the young season. The Browns are looking to capture their first win of the season. Ahead of their clash, here’s how the inactive list shakes up for both teams.

Green Bay Packers:

CB Kamal Hadden
OL Donovan Jennings
DL Warren Brinson

Cleveland Browns:

QB Shedeur Sanders (3rd QB)
S Damontae Kazee
CB Cameron Mitchell
RB Raheim Snaders
DT Mike Hall Jr.
G Zak Zinter
T Jack Conklin

One name not mentioned on the report for the packers is tight end Tucker Kraft. There was concern that Kraft would miss the Week 3 matchup. However, good news came on Saturday for Green Bay that he would be able to suit up. Kraft had a breakout game in last Thursday’s 27-18 Week 2 win over the Washington Commanders. He caught six passes for a career-high 124 yards during that showdown.

Among NFL tight ends, Kraft has been elite. He is first in yards per route run (3.26) and yards per target (14), and second in yards per reception (17.5), yards after catch (73) and yards after catch per reception (9.13), according to Fantasy Points Data. Keeping him on the field provides a massive boost to the Packers offensive consistency.

The Packers are already set to be without wide receiver Jayden Reed, who underwent surgery earlier this week for a broken collarbone and a Jones fracture in his left foot. Reed is out indefinitely, leaving Green Bay without its top wideout from last season.

In addition, Packers quarterback Jordan Love appeared on the injury report all week with a thumb issue. He was a full participant in practice all week despite this. Love has been dealing with the ailment since the preseason when he underwent UCL surgery on his left thumb. However, he returned to practice six days later and has been able to play through the recovery since.

Through two weeks, Love has thrown for 480 yards on a 66 percent completion rate. He’s thrown four touchdowns and hasn’t logged an interception so far. He’ll hope to find his big tight end in Tucker Kraft throughout Sunday, just as he did against Washington. Love finished that matchup 19-31 with 292 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Kickoff between the Packers and Browns is set for 1 p.m. ET. The game will air live on FOX.
