Former Green Bay Packers star defensive back Jaire Alexander has a new home after getting released in the offseason. The two-time Pro Bowler signed with the Baltimore Ravens on a one-year, $4 million contract.
It remains to be seen whether he’ll be an effective weapon in the secondary for the Ravens — or if he could even stay healthy for an entire season.
What seems certain at the moment is that he’s having lots of fun with his new team.
That being said, Alexander still thinks highly of Green Bay.
“Looking back to Green Bay, I made a lot of long-lasting relationships there. I’ve got nothing but love for the city. I think I just want to move forward and how I can excel here,” Alexander said, per Zach Kruse of Packers Wire.
On Tuesday, Ravens superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson burned rubber for a huge touchdown run that got everyone hyped up. Despite Baltimore’s defense getting torched by Jackson, Alexander went to celebrate with the dual-threat signal-caller.

It’s worth mentioning as well that Jackson and Alexander were former college teammates during their time with the Louisville Cardinals.
The good news for Alexander and Baltimore’s defense is that they don’t have to deal with Jackson once the season begins.
