Green Bay Packers tight end Luke Musgrave just had a life-changing moment in the offseason, as he finally exchanged vows with long-time girlfriend Madi Weisner.
Now a married man, Musgrave is in a new chapter of his life. As for his football career, he is entering his third season in the NFL with the Packers, who took him in the second round of the 2023 NFL draft as the 42nd overall selection.
That was underscored by a recent post on social media by Mrs. Musgrave.
On Instagram, Madi shared a photo of herself with the former Oregon State Beavers star tight end at Lambeau Field. She captioned the photo with “Year 3 for my husband.”
Musgrave is viewed as the TE2 to Tucker Kraft’s TE1, and he’s looking to finally have a breakout season in 2025. That remains to be seen, and until he leapfrogs Kraft, Musgrave could remain as nothing more than an auxiliary piece to the Packers’ Jordan Love-led passing attack.
Injuries hurt his stock in 2024, when he only appeared in seven games and made just 45 receiving yards on seven catches and 10 targets. In Week 1 of the 2025 NFL preseason versus the New York Jets at home, Musgrave only managed to record a receiving yard on a catch and a target.
The 2025 season also projects to be a crucial one for Musgrave, as his current contract will expire by the end of the 2026 campaign. A big 2025 season could boost his leverage on the negotiation table when it’s time to go after an extension deal.
As for the Packers, they are gearing up for a Week 2 preseason game against the Indianapolis Colts on the road, with Musgrave potentially seeing action in that contest.
