Green Bay Packers Pro Football Hall of Fame watch

The Pro Football Hall of Fame will induct the class of 2023 on Aug. 5. Here are players from the 2023 Packers who could join the immortals in Canton one day.

Fringe Hall of Famers

David Bakhtiari, LT: In 2018, Aaron Rodgers said Bakhtiari had "Hall of Fame potential." While a devastating ACL injury four seasons later may have derailed his road to Canton a bit, the 31-year-old has made a heck of a case over 130 NFL games.

After being limited to one game in 2021, Bakhtiari returned in 2022, allowing zero sacks and 10 pressures over 11 games. Bakhtiari is a three-time Pro Bowler and two-time All-Pro. If the former fourth-round pick can add a few more solid seasons to his résumé, his Hall of Fame trek might get back on track.

Aaron Jones, RB: Don't let Jones' one Pro Bowl berth over six seasons fool you. The 28-year-old has put together an underrated NFL career. Fresh off his third 1,000-yard season, the well-rounded Jones is already among the best to occupy the backfield in Green Bay.

Despite his up-and-down usage in Green Bay, Jones ranks third in Packers history in rushing yards (5,284), trailing only Jim Taylor (8,207) and Ahman Green (8,322). Also, Jones has a career average of 5.1 yards per carry, tied for the eighth-highest in NFL history. Only two Hall of Fame backs averaged more, Jim Brown (5.2) and Marion Motley (5.7).

A young player who could develop into Hall of Famer

Jaire Alexander, CB: A first-round pick in 2018, Alexander earned his second Pro Bowl honor in five seasons last year, recording 56 tackles and a career-high five interceptions. Only 26, Alexander is entering his prime, which could change his Hall of Fame fortunes.

Alexander earned a Pro Football Focus grade of 80.3 in 2022, the 10th-best among corners. In May, PFF's Sam Monson ranked Alexander as the fifth-best corner in the league heading into the 2023 season.
