Green Bay Packers Receive Major Prediction Ahead of 2025 NFL Season

Entering the 2025 NFL season, the Green Bay Packers are going to be an intriguing team to watch. They have the talent to become a potential Super Bowl contender, but there are a lot of questions surrounding them.

One of those questions has to do with franchise quarterback Jordan Love. He came up well short of the high expectations that had surrounded him heading into the 2024 season. After getting hurt in Week 1 against the Philadelphia Eagles, Love never seemed to fire on all cylinders.

Matt LaFleur has had a lot of success since taking over as the head coach of the Packers. However, he has not been able to lead his team to the Super Bowl. That is the next goal to check off of his list.

With that being said, a new prediction has been made about how the 2025 season will go for Green Bay.

Pro Football Network analyst Jacob Infante has revealed his playoff picture for the NFC. When it comes to the Packers, he has them finishing the year as the No. 6 seed in the conference.

Green Bay finishing as the No. 6 seed would not be a surprise. The NFC North division will be a major uphill battle this year, with the Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings both being elite teams in 2024. While the Vikings lost Sam Darnold, they should still be dangerous, while the Chicago Bears improved in a big way this offseason.

A lot of the championship hopes for the Packers will hinge on Love. Can he take the big leap as a third-year starter? Will he help take Green Bay’s offense to being among the NFL’s elite?

Defensively, the Packers have a couple of major question marks. After cutting ties with Jaire Alexander, the secondary could be problematic. They also will need to prove that they have enough pass rushing talent.

Only time will tell if they’ve built the right roster to compete against the elite teams in the NFl. They do not have an easy schedule and will be tested all season long.

Should they be able to overcome all of those tests and get into the playoffs, Green Bay will not be an easy out.

The 2025 season will kick off with a Week 1 matchup at Lambeau Field against the Lions on September 7. In that game, the Packers will have an immediate chance to make a major statement to begin the year.
