Green Bay Packers: wide receiver Romeo Doubs named to PFF’s 2025 All-Playoff Team

The Green Bay Packers are likely not going to bring back Romeo Doubs in 2026. This, however, is not due to poor performance. On the contrary, Doubs led the Packers with 55 receptions and 724 receiving yards. Additionally, he tied for the team lead with six touchdown receptions.

Unfortunately, Doubs has played the final year of his rookie contract. With Christian Watson on a one-year extension and other wide receivers like Jayden Reed, Dontayvion Wicks, Matthew Golden, and Savion Williams still on their own rookie contracts, Green Bay simply cannot justify spending the money to bring Doubs back.

That should not take away from what he has accomplished in a Packer uniform, though. This is especially true of how he performed in the NFL Playoffs this past year.

Now that the NFL Playoffs are over, PFF has revealed its All-Playoff Team, a list of players that they graded as the best performers in the postseason. And while the Packers only played in one playoff game, Doubs was listed as one of the league’s highest-graded wide receivers:

“The Packers limped to the playoffs on the back of four straight losses, and they fell to their rival Chicago Bears 31-27 in a close wild-card matchup. When the Green Bay offense was rolling, it was excellent, and WR Romeo Doubswas at the center of the group’s success.

“Doubs caught eight of 11 targets for 124 yards and a touchdown, and his 88.9 PFF grade was second among receivers in the postseason. Doubs averaged a healthy 15.5 yards per reception, and his 3.44 yards per route run were the second-most.”

As noted, Doubs had eight receptions for 124 yards and a touchdown in the Packers’ loss to the Chicago Bears. This past year, he also had the lowest drop percentage of his career (3.5%).

While his time in Green Bay is almost certainly over, there is no doubt that Doubs will have no shortage of suitors on the free agent market.
