Greg Dulcich's hair and play impressing Broncos

Greg Dulcich's big hair adds flair to the Broncos' inept offense.

"He's got great hair, too, which is always impressive," said Broncos head coach Nathaniel Hackett after a 21-17 victory over the Jaguars.

His play captured Denver's attention as well. Through two games, the rookie tight end leads the team in receiving yards per game, averaging 60.7.

His performance against Jacksonville earned NFL Rookie of the Week nominations. He led the team in receiving yards with 87 and made several clutch catches that extended drives.

"He's been really special. He has some freakish ability," said Russell Wilson following the victory.

Wilson praised Dulcich because he's benefited from his play. Dulcich missed the Broncos' first five games due to a hamstring injury. Consequently, Wilson posted an 84.6 rating. When Dulcich returned, his rating improved to 88.6.

Wilson's developed a comfortable, consistent repertoire with a target for the first time since being traded to Denver in March.

"Russ is starting to get a nice flow with him," said Hackett.

As a result, the offense is trickling. Denver failed to score more than 16 points until Sunday's victory.

If Dulcich's breakout campaign continues, Denver's offense can start to fulfill its potential and push past a tumultuous first half of the season, highlighted by their 3-5 record.
