Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills saw their season come up short once again, falling to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game, the fourth time Mahomes has beaten Allen in the postseason.

Now, the Chiefs look to pull off the NFL's first-ever three-peat, facing the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX.

On Thursday, Allen and his girlfriend, Hailee Steinfeld, made their way to New Orleans, Louisiana, for the 14th Annual NFL Honors. This ceremony gives out the major awards from the season.

Allen had been widely considered one of the two top candidates for the MVP award, along with Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson. Although it didn't affect the MVP vote, Allen was able to knock out Jackson and the Ravens in the Divisional Round.

Sure enough, Allen was able to squeak by Jackson in MVP voting points 383-362, winning his first MVP.

On Saturday, Steinfeld continued the celebration of her boyfriend's huge accomplishment with a post on Instagram. It contained one photo of Allen with his new hardware and one of the couple together.

"That’s MVP Josh Allen to you! ," Steinfeld captioned the post.

Allen shared his reaction to the post in the comment section as well.

"I love you ❤️‍," Allen replied.

Although Allen and Steinfeld are celebrating the NFL's most prestigious honor, they have had a lot to be excited about over the past few months. In late November, the couple made a joint post on Instagram to announce that they had become engaged on Nov. 22.

The 2024 regular season was arguably Allen's best statistically, which explains his MVP win. The former Wyoming Cowboys star completed 307-of-483 passes for 3,731 yards, 28 touchdowns and six interceptions while adding another 531 yards and 12 touchdowns on the ground. He also led the Bills to a 13-4 record and the No. 2 seed in the AFC.

Even with Allen and Steinfeld in New Orleans on Thursday, it is unclear if they will make their way to the Superdome for Super Bowl LIX. The Chiefs and Eagles will battle it out on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET.
