With Jaquan Brisker on injured reserve and uncertainty regarding Elijah Hicks' ankle injury, the Chicago Bears brought in a few veteran players to shore up the safety position. When the dust settled, a familiar face ended up on top.

A familiar name around Halas Hall, Colbert spent the last two seasons with the Bears and was a focal point of HBO’s "Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Chicago Bears." He was best known on the show for his unique personality and friendly demeanor.
He also made this memorable play in the preseason against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Colbert's advantage over the other players is his familiarity with the Bears' coaching and scheme. It wouldn't be a surprise to see him be active this Sunday when the Bears take on the Minnesota Vikings.
