The tragic death of NFL receiver Rondale Moore just got even more heartbreaking.
On Saturday, news of Moore's passing quickly spread around the National Football League after the 25-year-old was found dead from what's being investigated as a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Moore last signed with the Vikings but suffered yet another injury setback that kept him off the field for a second straight season after being selected 49th overall in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft by the Arizona Cardinals.
Now one of his former teammates in the desert is sharing some gut-wrenching details about their last exchange.
Taking to X as word of Moore's death made its way across NFL media, ex-Cardinals receiver Hollywood Brown revealed that he had allegedly talked to the Purdue All-American not long before he passed away.
"Bro ain’t no way brotha you just messaged me few hours ago " Brown shared. Later saying, "You wasn’t alone bro.. I told you I know how you feel."

"Dang. This is heartbreaking," Robert Griffin III replied.
"Man that is hard to hear. Life always has its ups and downs. Just need to role with the good and bad. Never take life for granted," a user said.
"Man this hurts… Hollywood & Rondale had that real bond. Gone way too soon at 25," another commented. "Prayers up for his family & everyone who loved him. RIP "
"This is honestly so sad " a fan shared.
"I'm sure his family will take solace in the fact that he had a friend who looked out for him and showed love. I'm so sorry for your loss."
"So brutally sad," Josh Weinfuss posted.
You never want to see anyone pass away, but especially at such a young age with so much life ahead of them. Our thoughts definitely go out to Moore's family, teammates and loved ones during this difficult time.
