The Houston Texans franchise is heading in a great direction. Anytime you have a talented head coach like DeMeco Ryans, and a franchise quarterback in CJ Stroud, you have a chance. The future seems bright.
In order to take the next step, this offseason is going to be very, very important. The 2025 NFL Draft class is a huge opportunity to continue building this talented roster. Putting strong support around Stroud should be of the utmost importance.
Membou is an extremely interesting 2025 prospect. Depending who you talk to, some consider him an offensive tackle on the next level, while others think he will fit best inside. The positive is that the Texans could have a need at both right tackle and guard, which makes Membou the perfect player to get the best five on the field.
There’s a lot of Isaiah Wynn in Missouri RT Armand Membou (#79)… odd body type for an offensive tackle, but there’s some in the NFL who like him to stick outside. If not, he’s a starting guard on the next level.

Compact frame, natural power, smooth mover. pic.twitter.com/uy0cncEutw
Quarterback CJ Stroud desperately needs a consistent playmaker over the middle of the field. Arroyo brings a lot of versatility to the table, having the profile to make plays inline or detached all across the formation. His YAC upside is also a huge selling point.
It was somewhat surprising to see Miami TE Elijah Arroyo (#8) weigh in at 251 pounds. He moves like a much smaller tight end, and is outstanding getting in and out of breaks.

The Texans are extremely strong on the edges, but the interior defensive line could use a talent boost. There may not be a bigger riser in that group than Alexander, who is an extremely gifted mover for a defensive tackle. He should provide some nice penetration upside.
Toledo DL Darius Alexander has been hard to handle all week… Has gotten home from several different alignments. That versatility will be huge for NFL teams. pic.twitter.com/kDj0XdvRKg

Prather didn’t quite take the step forward in 2024 that many hoped, but he is still an incredibly gifted football player. Long, strong, and explosive, Prather should be able to provide a role on the next level. There is still untapped upside to develop as well.
Maryland WR Kaden Prather (#1) had a hilarious performance against USC… 9 receptions for 111 yards and it could have been way, way more.

6-4, 211 pounds with long speed, and impressive hip sink. The tools are fantastic. pic.twitter.com/MJlT2p5ORy
Somewhat forgotten as a part of a really deep running back class, Neal is a very good player. He has rushed for 4,343 yards and 49 touchdowns during the course of his career, and has tremendous overall vision. Neal might not be as flashy as some others, but he is extremely dependable.
Devin Neal (Kansas) is/has been a DUDE

Slater participated in the 2025 Reese’s Senior Bowl, and put together a strong week. He is a guard by trade but it wouldn’t be shocking to see Slater get some snaps at center as well. That swing potentially brings a solid baseline to stick on the next level.
