How Bills QB Josh Allen likely broke some fantasy football leagues in Weeks 14 and 15

Fantasy players who own Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen probably feel they have a cheat code.

Allen has looked nearly unstoppable over his past two games, completing 63.6% of his passes for 704 yards and five TDs. Additionally, he rushed for 150 yards and five TDs on 21 carries.

His tear probably helped some fantasy players win the first playoff game. According to ESPN's Field Yates, Allen had 93.16 fantasy points in Weeks 14 and 15 and is the first QB in league history with consecutive games of 40-plus points.

Allen could win MVP in many fantasy leagues and capture it in real life. As of Monday, FanDuel Sportsbook lists him as the favorite (-900) to win the award ahead of Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson and Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley.

Jackson has the league's second-most TD passes (34 in 14 games), and Barkley has the most rushing yards (1,688 in 14 games). However, Allen should maintain his lead in the MVP race.

Through his first 14 games, Allen ranks eighth in the league in passing yards (3,395), sixth in TD passes (25) and first in QBR (79.4). If the regular season ended Monday, the Bills (11-3) would have the No. 2 seed in the AFC playoffs.

After the Bills beat the Lions, 48-42, on Sunday, Buffalo edge rusher Von Miller noted he's played with elite QBs in 13 seasons and Allen belongs in the same company.

"He's just got a special aura about him," Miller said, per The Athletic's Michael Silver. "I've played with some great ones — [Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford], and of course [former Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning] — and he is one of those guys. I'm witnessing something different right now, and I can't put my finger on it.

"Let's just say it's a special moment in time."

If Allen keeps recording impressive numbers, he and the Bills could lift their first Lombardi Trophy. He could also help fantasy players win their leagues.
