How C.J. Stroud and Amber Rose Sparked Dating Rumors

The Houston Texans will miss their star quarterback C.J. Stroud again on Thursday against Josh Allen's Buffalo Bills. The team is 5-5 and in third place in the AFC South.

The 24-year-old Stroud is recovering from a concussion suffered in early November and has missed multiple games while he progresses through the NFL’s concussion protocol. The Texans have been cautious about his return.

Off the field, Stroud has maintained a simple life and is not currently dating anyone. The biggest twist to his relationship status came in 2024, when Amber Rose briefly became the subject of rumors linking the two.

A video circulated online showing Stroud and Rose leaving the Cactus Jack Foundation HBCU Celebrity Softball Classic and appearing to head toward the same vehicle, prompting speculation that the two were more than acquaintances after TMZ's report.

Rose is an American model, actress and television personality who rose to prominence in the late 2000s after appearing in hip-hop music videos. She later hosted The Amber Rose Show.

Rose pushed back on the suggestion that anything romantic was underway. In a social media post, she stated, "We literally don't know each other and only met yesterday at a softball game," she wrote on her Instagram stories. "The sprinter left me, and he was nice enough to give me a ride to my hotel," thanking Stroud.

Stroud has done limited practice and, if he completes contact work and passes independent medical clearance, could be available on Nov. 30 when Houston has a big AFC South showdown against the first-place Indianapolis Colts (8-2).
