Bad Bunny's halftime show at the Super Bowl has been a hot topic of debate for weeks now.
Spotify's most-streamed artist of 2025 is a worldwide sensation who may help the NFL reach new latitudes. However, his all-Spanish music portfolio made some people think it was an odd choice.
Regardless, Mike Vrabel couldn't care less about that. If anything, he's only focused on getting his team ready and willing to use every available resource to gain an edge.
According to pool reporter Lindsay Jones (via ESPN's Adam Schefter), the New England Patriots head coach went the extra mile to replicate the conditions of the big game.
"Patriots HC Mike Vrabel did his best during Friday’s practice to simulate Sunday’s Super Bowl conditions. One hour into practice, Vrabel sent his team back to the locker room, blared Bad Bunny over the stadium speakers for 14 minutes, and then summoned his team back to the field to finish practice," Schefter wrote on X.
You have to think outside the box and make sure practice is as similar to the actual game as humanly possible. Also, if that helped the players loosen up and relax a bit during the biggest game of the season, even better.
Vrabel has extensive Super Bowl experience, and as someone who knows what it takes to get the job done at the highest level, he wasn't willing to leave any stone unturned in his pursuit of the ultimate glory.
