Michael Penix Jr, Bijan Robinson and Drake London are all young stars that have potential to be one of the best players in their positions. Robinson has already shown and proven that he can be a top five rusher in the league and a pro bowler, but Penix and London will look to have that kind of season in 2025.
The trio of young talent were all eight overall picks in each draft from 2022-2024, and all have shown their flashes since entering the league. Penix was not a starter from the jump, but when he jumped in for Kirk Cousins, he looked as ready as ever.
Robinson showed out in 2024 as one of the best running backs in the NFL and has already had an impressive pro bowl season that the Falcons expected out of him. London also had a very impressive season in 2024, putting up 1,271 yards with 100 receptions and 9 touchdowns.
All of it comes down to how Penix adjusts to being a full-time starter, and if he can break into a 4,000-yard season off the bat. Having a top 5 player in each category, for passing, rushing and receiving is a tough task but also shows a very balanced offense.
If the Falcons want to be a playoff team, each of these players will have to continue to develop and keep becoming stars, as well as everyone around them putting in work. Players like Darnell Mooney and Tyler Allgeier must also step up and be stars in their own right as Wide Receiver 2 and Running Back 2.
This will be a very important season, as the future is very bright for this Falcons team.
