How The Quarterback Room Looks For The Falcons
(Ron Chenoy-Imagn Images)

The Falcons have made it clear that Michael Penix Jr. will be the starter for 2025 with Kirk Cousins and Easton Stick currently serving as backups. All three are capable of a starting role and make it so the Falcons seem to be set at the position.

The only big issue is that the main backup is making seven times the salary of the starter and that can be a huge issue with money this season. Penix is still on his rookie deal which helps out the Falcons until his pay day comes in the future.

Penix is looking to be the next big thing in Atlanta and looks to be a breakout quarterback in 2025. Cousins and Stick are both solidified as quarterback two and three for the time being until next season or a Cousins trade gets done.

The Falcons have one of the better rooms in the league with multiple talents that can take over a game when needed. They will look to stick with Penix for the season unless bad play or an injury happens, they will have reliable backups.

The Falcons are looking to win the NFC South which has been dominated by the Buccaneers for the last few years and now it could be different this season. Penix is about to be a full-time starter for the first time in his career and will look to be a standout candidate this year.

The Falcons are hoping to utilize having a good quarterback room and look to be the team they know they can be.
