Cleveland and Houston played in Week 16 of the regular season when the Browns beat the Texans in a 36-22 triumph.
The Texans ended the regular season with an overall record of 10-7 as leaders of the AFC South, with rookie C.J. Stroud being one of the key players in the team.

Houston returns to the playoffs for the first time since 2019 and is 6-3 playing at home this season. Jerry Hughes is out, while Andrew Beck, Sheldon Rankins, Maliek Collins, and Jonathan Greenard are listed as questionable.
The Texans hold a two-game winning streak and are coming off a 23-19 victory over the Indianapolis Colts in their last game.

The Browns are in the NFL playoffs for the second time in 20 years. They finished in second place in the AFC North with an overall record of 11-6 and a 3-5 mark playing away from home.
Cleveland suffered a surprising 31-14 loss against the Cincinnati Bengals, putting an end to a four-game winning streak. Mike Ford, Denzel Ward, Juan Thornhill, and Pierre Strong Jr. are listed as questionable for the Wild Card meeting against the Texans.
