'I Actually Get Wildly Uncomfortable:' Matthew Stafford Isn't a Fan of this Georgia Tradition
© Junfu Han / USA TODAY NETWORK

Long before he was the face of the Detroit Lions or Los Angeles Rams, Matthew Stafford was one of the best quarterbacks that the university of Georgia had ever seen.

Before he was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft, Stafford departed Georgia having thrown for 7,731 yards, 51 touchdowns and completed 57% of his passes. He led the Bulldogs to a 30-9 record as the starter, with bowl game victories in the Chick-fil-A Bowl, Sugar Bowl and the Capital One Bowl.

While he went down as a Bulldogs legend, he recently revealed on Barstool's "Pardon My Take," that he is not a fan when Georgia fans do one thing in particular toward him.

Matthew Stafford Gets Uncomfortable When Georgia Fans Bark at Him

The 37-year-old Super Bowl champion revealed that he isn't the biggest fan when Bulldog supporters bark at him, and revealed he doesn't "call the dogs."

"You know what I actually get wildly uncomfortable when people like bark at me," Stafford said. "Or be like...'Go Dawgs!' And I'm like 'yeah.' I don't ever give them the go dogs back. It just doesn't sit right with me. I don't know why."

When encouraged to bark back, Stafford said he feels the need to since his wife, Kelly, is from Georgia, and he wants to make her proud.

Although Stafford may not share the same enthusiasm as college football fans, it's hard to imagine he's not rooting for his alma mater to win its third title in five years. However, just don't expect a bark back if it does happen.
