'I Know It Was Legal!' Ravens Coach John Harbaugh on Charlie Kolar's Questionable OT Punt Return Block

The Baltimore Ravens and Los Angeles Rams gave us one of the NFL's best games of the week, a 37-31 tense overtime thriller that ended in spectacular fashion.

But was that ending tainted by a missed call on Tylan Wallace's 76-yard walk-off punt return touchdown?

Some, mainly Rams fans, are arguing so. But there are actually two questionable non-calls on the return. The first came at the 25-yard line, where Ravens cornerback Jalyn Armour-Davis attempted to block Rams defensive back Shaun Jolly.

As the play begins, there is a shove, but it appears to more be in contact with the shoulder. This one is borderline at best and was probably correct as a non-call. The second came at about the 31-yard line, where Ravens tight end Charlie Kolar appeared to block Rams linebacker Jacob Hummel in the back.

On Monday, Ravens coach John Harbaugh was asked about the block and if it should've been called a penalty by the officiating crew.

"I know it was absolutely legal. I watched it on tape. His hands were in front. For it to be a block in the back, you actually have to block the guy in the back, which he did not do."

There was no penalty called and the punt return by Wallace ended the game to send Ravens fans home happy. Baltimore now possesses the No. 1 seed in the AFC with a 10-3 record. Miami hosts the Tennessee Titans on Monday night - one of two games in a Monday Night Football double-header - and a Dolphins win would tie them for the best record in the AFC with the Ravens.
