'I wouldn't want to face them in January': Bengals built for another playoff run

The Bengals are one of the hottest teams in the NFL. Will they be the scariest team to face come playoffs?

Peter Schrager of "Good Morning Football" believes they might just be.

"I wouldn’t want to face them in January, whether it be in Cincinnati or it be on the road," Schrager said. "That is a team, with that quarterback on the other sideline, I would not want to see, and I would not want to have to game plan for."

The Bengals have most of their pieces from last season's run to the Super Bowl, and QB Joe Burrow is the key.

"Does Joe Burrow ever waiver? This guy is just so dialed in," Schrager added. "This team is so young, and yet it’s been there."

Cincinnati is preparing for the 99th battle of Ohio and trying to end its five-game losing streak vs. Cleveland in Week 14. The Bengals do lead the series 51-47 all time, per StatMuse.com.

Burrow is playing as good as anyone, but he has yet to secure his first career victory over the Browns. How does he get the win?

Cincinnati must start fast and avoid playing comeback football. Schrager says the Bengals have to "get out early" and not let RB Nick Chubb "run all over the defense yet again."

If the Bengals can continue stacking wins, they will find their way into the playoffs once again. The difference this year? They won't be a surprise.
