Indianapolis Colts Offensive Weapon Arrested On Alleged Battery Charge
Jenna Watson/IndyStar / USA TODAY NETWORK

Per multiple reports, an Indianapolis Colts tight end was arrested Friday, two days before the team plays the Las Vegas Raiders.

According to a post on X by Stephen Holder with ESPN, tight end Drew Ogletree was arrested in Indiana Friday for two alleged charges:

“Colts backup TE Drew Ogletree was arrested today in Hendricks County for alleged domestic battery committed in physical presence of a child less than 16 and domestic battery resulting in moderate bodily injury, according to state records.

Both charges appear to be felonies.”

The Colts released a statement on the incident Friday evening:

“We are aware of the disturbing allegations involving Drew Ogletree. The team takes these matters seriously. We have notified the NFL and are in the process of gathering more information. We will have no further comment at this time.”

It’s unclear if Ogletree will play for the Indianapolis Colts in Week 17

The Colts said nothing in their statement about Ogletree’s availability to play the Raiders this weekend. The 8-7 Colts are tied with the Houston Texans and Jacksonville Jaguars for the AFC South with two games left to go in the regular season.

Ogletree has nine receptions on 21 targets for 147 yards and two touchdowns for the Colts this season.
