Grace Hollars/IndyStar / USA TODAY NETWORK

The Indianapolis Colts have lost one of their most dangerous weapons in their game vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers. This key wide receiver suffered a devastating hit earlier in the game. As a result, the wide receiver is now out for the game with a concussion.

Michael Pittman Jr. Suffered a Concussion

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Indianapolis Colts WR Michael Pittman Jr. is out for the game due to a concussion. He suffered a brutal hit earlier in the game thanks to Pittsburgh Steelers DB Damontae Kazee. As a result of that hit, Kazee was ejected from the game.

Indianapolis Colts Impact

Now, the Colts have to win this game without one of their best wide receivers. This is a crucial game for both teams considering that each team has a 7-6 record. Just how good has Pittman been this season?

Pittman has 984 receiving yards and four touchdown receptions this season. He has 3,494 receiving yards and 15 touchdown receptions in 59 career games. That includes four catches for 78 receiving yards in today’s game against the Steelers.

When Pittman left the game, he was the leading receiver in the game. The Colts were also trailing in the game when Pittman suffered the concussion. Now, they will have to overcome this to try and secure a critical win.
