Indianapolis proves they still hold a grudge against Patriots legend Tom Brady at Indy 500

Indianapolis is still not over Tom Brady's domination.

The former New England Patriots quarterback was in attendance at the Indy 500 on Sunday and appeared on stage during a pre-race ceremony. That's when the crowd booed him.

Brady just laughed it off, smiling and waving to the crowd.

And he made a joke when speaking with Jamie Little, saying that he's "sure there are a lot of Indianapolis Colts fans here that would like to see me crash."

He also posted about his experience on Instagram

" x 14," he captioned the post. "What an incredible experience at Indianapolis Motor Speedway this weekend. Thanks to the @foxsports family for putting on an incredible show, and to my friend, the best driver in the world and 7x champion @jimmiejohnson for letting me tag along as we led out the pack. I’ll be back, and next time I’m driving!!!"

The Patriots and the Colts have a long rivalry, specifically with Brady being responsible for knocking Indianapolis out of the playoffs four times. And then of course, there was the infamous "Deflategate" incident where the Colts suspected that Brady ordered the footballs to be deflated in the 2014 AFC Championship Game, where New England ultimately came out on top.

In the end, Brady was suspended for the first four games of the 2016 NFL Season, while the Patriots were fined $1 million and forfeited two draft selections that same year.

So, despite Brady no longer being on the field, it seems the Colts aren't ready to forgive him yet.
