'Insane' Cooper Kupp Trade Plan Leaves Rams Family Heartbroken

The Los Angeles Rams have made news with star receiver Cooper Kupp being put up for trade by the organization.

It is a move that has shocked many - and certainly is catching the attention of receiver-needy rivals like the Dallas Cowboys -  perhaps none more so than Kelly Stafford, the wife of Rams quarterback Matthew.

With the pair developing quite the relationship, Matthew and Kupp will now likely not be on the same team moving forward, which has upset Kelly.

She posted on her Instagram story a heartbreaking emoji over Kupp's picture, and then on the next phase of her story, gave her thoughts on the trade.

"People don't understand what you bring to the game...beyond your insane talent. This one hurts."

We aren't sure exactly why Kupp was put up for trade, but there are a few tell-tale signs.

After his triple crown win in 2021, he hasn't hit 1,000 receiving yards in any of his last three seasons, plus he hasn't played a full season in that span either, with injuries more than likely playing their role in the decision to part ways with Kupp.

But that doesn't mean the decision won't impact others, and in Kelly's case it certainly has and fellow receiver Puka Nacua reacted to the trade news by posting on X.

"So I thought it was just the NBA trade season."

Are the Cowboys in play? As we write here, it's hard to see a fit. But ...

The Rams will have to find a suitable trade partner for Kupp as his days in L.A. are seemingly over and Kelly, along with a host of other fans, will take some time to get over the news.
