Inside Week 14 NFL numbers: A six-pack of Sunday's most interesting stats

Using Stathead from Pro Football Reference, Yardbarker shines a spotlight on key names and numbers from Sunday's NFL action:

Vegas crap game: For the seventh time since the 1970 NFL-AFL merger, a game ended with a final score of 3-0. The Minnesota Vikings managed the only points of the game against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Other 3-0 games have been a product of bad weather. The Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Miami Dolphins 3-0 on November 26, 2007 on a field of mud. The New England Patriots beat Miami 3-0 on December 12, 1982 in a blizzard. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat the Kansas City Chiefs 3-0 on December 16, 1979 in a monsoon.

On Sunday, however, the Vikings and Raiders played in the enclosed confines of Allegiant Stadium, with no inclement weather to fall back on as an excuse. Considering the indoor climate and the current era of an offense-friendly rulebook, this has a case as the worst game in NFL history.

Happy returns: Tylan Wallace's 76-yard punt return for a touchdown led the Baltimore Ravens to a 37-31 overtime win for the Los Angeles Rams.

Along with Xavier Gipson's overtime punt return for a score in the New York Jets' Week 1 win over the Buffalo Bills, this marks the first season in NFL history in which multiple overtime games have ended on a punt return for a touchdown (regular-season overtime was introduced in 1974).

Browns rock and roll at home: The Cleveland Browns improved to 6-1 at home with a 31-27 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. This is the Browns' best start to a home slate since 2007, when they finished 7-1 in Cleveland.

Browns fans hope that this season won't end the same way '07 did: despite a 10-6 record, Cleveland missed the playoffs.

Zach finally attacks: Beleaguered quarterback Zach Wilson came off the bench to throw for 301 yards and two touchdowns in the New York Jets' 30-6 upset win over the Houston Texans.

At last, everything clicked for Wilson in his first 300-yard performance that ended in a win. In Wilson's two previous NFL games with 300 passing yards, the Jets lost both times.

Young's rude welcome continues: Quarterback Bryce Young's rookie season just keeps getting worse. The first overall draft pick by the Carolina Panthers completed just 13 of 36 passes in a 28-6 loss to the New Orleans Saints.

Young's 36% completion percentage is the worst a quarterback has posted with that many pass attempts since December 16, 2007, when New York Giants QB Eli Manning was just 18-for-53 (34%) in a 22-10 loss to Washington.

Low battery: The Los Angeles Chargers' offense powered down yet again in a 24-7 loss to the Denver Broncos. After beating New England 6-0 in Week 13, this is the first time the Bolts have scored less than 10 points in consecutive games since December 6 and 13, 2015

The then-San Diego Chargers were held to a combined six points in back-to-back losses to Denver and Kansas City.
