Insider Has Bold Prediction For Who Will Replace Mark Davis as Raiders Owner

It's a morbid topic but there's been a lot of speculation about who will own the Las Vegas Raiders after Mark Davis. The NFL requires every owner to have a succession plan in place in case something happens and they have to reaffirm it every year.

That means Davis has a plan but it's not known to the general public. At 69, he could still realistically own the team for a long time but he has no children or next of kin who would be the logical choice to take over the Raiders.

However, there's one name involved with the Raiders who could be the logical person to succeed Davis: Tom Brady.

The legendary quarterback became a minority of the team last year and already has a strong voice in the building. While he owns just a tiny fraction of the franchise, he may have bigger plans.

Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio believes that Brady will eventually take over for Davis.

"Tom Brady is ultra-competitive and he always wants to win and he’s always ambitious," Florio said on NFL on NBC. "I think one of these days, Tom Brady is going to be the majority owner of the Raiders."

It remains to be seen how that could play out. According to Forbes, the Raiders are worth $6.7 billion. That's not something that Brady will likely ever be able to afford on his own.

It's possible that Davis could leave him the team but it's more likely that Brady would have to put a group together of big spenders and buy the majority share of the team. Davis may want to eventually retire from NFL ownership so that could appeal to him.
