Is Chiefs General Manager Brett Veach a Hall of Famer?

The Kansas City Chiefs remain the only undefeated team in the NFL heading into their matchup against the Buffalo Bills.

While the Chiefs are 9-0, many believe that the team is not as good as their record makes them seem. However, there is no denying that they have been the most successful franchise in the NFL in the last five years. A large reason for that has been because of the front office's ability to build a consistent championship contender.

In a recent interview on "NFL Spotlight" with Ari Meirov, Chiefs vice president of football operations Chris Shea gave credit to general manager Brett Veach.

"I think people here would tell you that he's been instrumental in everything we've done to get to the place where we've been in four Super Bowls and won three of them," Shea said. "I think he's a Hall of Fame general manager, and there aren't many of them with the success he's enjoyed."

"Of course, Coach Reid is a Hall of Fame coach and we've got a great quarterback," Shea continued. "We've got an all-time great coach – maybe one of the two or three greatest of all time [and] maybe the greatest of all time. Having that combo, maybe it overshadows the general manager a little bit, and that's not Brett's fault but he's spectacular."

A lot of the credit for Kansas City's recent success has gone toward coach Andy Reid and quarterback Patrick Mahomes, as Shea noted. However, he also wanted to make it clear that a lot of the things that Veach does behind the scenes have been just as integral
