The Green Bay Packers have turned the page to the 2025 season.
Their 2024 went up in smoke as the Philadelphia Eagles dispatched them, 22-10 in Sunday's Wild Card game.
The Packers expected to be Super Bowl contenders, but never quite got over the hump against the NFC's elite.
Now, they're looking to add some pieces in order to get back into the Super Bowl conversation.
Perhaps an old friend has a suggestion?
Davante Adams is a regular guest on Kay Adams' show Up & Adams, and he was asked what would be something he would do to fix the Packers.
Adams consistently discussed the health of the team, citing injuries to Josh Myers and Romeo Doubs before he said one thing that could cause heads to spin quickly.
What do the #Packers NEED to focus on this offseason???

"It's looking right now like they might need some receiver help in one way or the other... Maybe a veteran or something we'll see." Adams said.
A veteran receiver?
How about Davante Adams?
Adams is currently under contract with the New York Jets, but will likely be released in the event that they move on from Aaron Rodgers this offseason.
Adams has said that he would want to keep playing with Rodgers if possible.
What if Rodgers retires? What if a spot that wants Adams, does not need Rodgers?
Adams is a grown man and able to make his own decisions. He did so following the 2021 season when he requested to be traded, and the Packers granted that request.
Adams was sent to the Las Vegas Raiders for two draft picks. Things did not work out for Adams in Las Vegas. Derek Carr, one of Adams' best friends, was released just one season into Adams' tenure in Vegas.
Adams was traded to the Jets earlier this year, but the Jets flamed out and look like they could be starting over.
The Packers have been unable to replace Adams since he left, and now have some major question marks at receiver.
Christian Watson tore his ACL on January 5, which puts his 2025 season in jeopardy. If he does return, the absolute earliest would likely be in October.
Romeo Doubs left Sunday's game with a scary concussion, his second this season. He was also suspended earlier in the season for conduct detrimental to the team, causing some speculation he may want to leave Green Bay when the season ended.
Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks both had struggles in their second seasons.
Matt LaFleur continued to lament the Packers' lack of attention to detail in the passing game.
There is not a receiver more detailed than Adams.
The Packers have the need and the cap space to sign Adams.
The question is whether both sides want to get back together.
At this stage of his career, perhaps Adams wants to chase a Super Bowl ring. The Packers, while they struggled against the top teams this year, still have a lot going for them.
They could represent Adams' best chance at getting the contract he wants, while also chasing a ring.
Maybe he's asking, without saying so directly.
