Is Sauce Gardner Dating Latto’s Sister?

The bye week may have come at the wrong time for the New York Jets, as they finally won a game, and for Sauce Gardner, the extended break gave him the chance to hang out with his rumored girlfriend. Readers may think it’s Ice Spice. However, there has been a new development.

Before diving into Gardner and Spice’s on-and-off love story, let’s do a quick recap of the Jets’ season first. The green side of the Big Apple went through a massive overhaul in the 2025 offseason. Woody Johnson appointed former Detroit Lions defensive coordinator and ex-Jet, Aaron Glenn, as the head coach, who, of course, installed a select few in the key positions.

Glenn cut ties with 4x NFL MVP and Super Bowl winner Aaron Rodgers and brought in journeyman Justin Fields as their bridge/chance to become franchise quarterback on a two-year deal. Additionally, the Jets extended star receiver Garrett Wilson and cornerback Sauce Gardner, tying them down to at least the 2028 season.

So how did the current season pan out? The Jets went seven straight games with Fields ranking constantly in the bottom half of nearly every quarterback metric. Wilson, on the other hand, has slowly gained traction as a trade candidate for several championship-chasing teams.

Amidst the negativity came week eight’s upset win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Fields and running back Breece Hall shared one passing touchdown each, while the Iowa State graduate also scored two on the ground.

Gardner has been the anomaly in all of this. In fact, the Bearcats alumni and his CB partner, Brandon Stephens, have been exceptional. Gardner entered 2025 ranked as the best corner (91.9 grade) in the NFL according to PFF, even ahead of the reigning defensive player of the year, Patrick Surtain II of the Denver Broncos.

PFF were spot on with its assessment of Gardner. The 25-year-old has distanced himself from the rest of the competition in one particular area. According to PFF’s Judah Fortgang, Gardner has prevented wide receiver separation with astonishing efficiency.
